We are looking for an experienced Dental Engineer to join a friendly, highly skilled engineering team. This is a field-based role, offering variety, independence, and the support of an experienced team.
About the Role
As a Dental Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, servicing, and commissioning of dental equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Servicing, commissioning, and repairing dental equipment
- Recording service notes and ordering parts through an Asset Management System
- Managing your own test equipment and inventories
- Completing personal risk assessments and following safety procedures
- Working closely with colleagues and your Senior Engineering Manager (SEM)
- Receiving ongoing technical training through a dedicated Training Academy
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience in Dental Engineering
- Strong background working with air lines, water systems, and electrics
- Technical knowledge of dental equipment (able to provide quotations)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Good planning, time-management, and organisational abilities
- IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
- Salary: £30,000–£40,000, depending on experience
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 28 days with service)
